Wise Woman Wednesday : Lianne Raymond on Love

Share

I am delighted to share something with you.

My friend, a beautiful and wise woman, Lianne Raymond, has just released her video of a talk she gave in March. When I first watched this video, I was deeply moved.

I love it when women tell their stories. I love it when women share each other’s wisdom. I love it when we come to know the deep wise ways within our own soul by seeing and hearing this wisdom expressed through another woman.

I’m not going to say much more. Lianne’s words speak volumes. To know more of Lianne’s work, visit her website and read this poem she recently shared.

Be sure to share your feelings and thoughts with Lianne in the comments.

  1. “…without deep rest we cannot have deep play…” So wise and compassionate, Lianne. What you share here reminds me of something I heard recently from a teacher, how we need to feel a sense of belonging in this world in order to grow. A big, long hug is the best sense of belonging! I love your story about your son and his pancakes. Keep growing and living. Beautiful insights. Thank you.

  2. ” He cannot know his grandfather but he will know his love”
    So, so touching Lianne.
So much what we need to do for each other, to eradicate the pervasive anxiety born out of the lack of that kind of love.
I regret I hadn’t understood this until recently, but find I’m still able to go back and do repairs.
I LOVE the way you stand for love here.
    Gorgeous.
    And thank you.

  3. Thank *you* Ronna, Colleen and Pauline – for listening and for hearing my voice. It touches me deeply. And of course love to Julie for sharing my voice with her readers. xox

    Lianne
