Lianne Raymond + Julie Daley + life-changing books = WildSoul Book Club
Be wild; that is how to clear the river. The river does not flow in polluted, we manage that. The river does not dry up, we block it. If we want to allow it its freedom, we have to allow our ideational lives to be let loose, to stream, letting anything come, initially censoring nothing. That is creative life. It is made up of divine paradox.
~ Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Women Who Run with the Wolves

If any of these describe you, this may be just what you’ve been looking for:
You feel like your relationship with yourself could use some nurturing.
You would like to be more present in your life and in your body.
You are looking to enhance and tap more deeply into your creativity.
Your soul has been calling loudly to you and you haven’t known how to begin the journey.
You have always wanted to journal more but stalled every time you tried.
You have longed for a community of intelligent, thoughtful women.
Women Who Run with the Wolves has been sitting in your “to be read” pile for too long.
You are curious about the role of stories and myths, dreams and archetypes in your life.
You just love this kind of stuff and know intuitively that this is for you?
WildSoul Book Club is a journey into feminine wisdom and mystery.
Women today are immersed in a culture that demands that they remain focussed on a youthful appearance and outward beauty. We are missing the community, rituals, practices and stories that support us as we deepen into the rich experience of womanhood. We may have neglected to make time to attend to the beauty of our soul’s journey. We may feel we have no time for ourselves and yet we are full of life that has yet to be expressed.
Interviews With Wise Women:
So many women consider Women Who Run with the Wolves a life-changing book. We talked to some wise women including Tami Simon (founder of Sounds True), Danielle LaPorte, Jen Louden, Ronna Detrick, Desiree Adaway, Amy Palko, Marianne Elliott and more, and are happily sharing these chats with you here:
WildSoul Book Club will be your commitment to your soul.
The fall course begins September 10 and runs for 10 weeks until November 16 and will be grounded in our reading of Women Who Run with the Wolves in celebration of the 20th anniversary of its publication.
Here’s what it includes:
Weekly suggested reading along with journal prompts related to that reading.
A minimum of two other practices weekly including writing exercises, dream appreciation, guided contemplations, movement practices.
Audio recordings of our favourite stories from the book.
Examples of our own processes with the practices and journalling.
Access to the private course website and conversation forum (where we will be participants alongside you).
90 minute live calls every 3 weeks with Julie and Lianne for deeper conversation and questions. (These calls will be on Wednesdays from 4-5:30 pm Pacific time – Sept 12th, Oct 3rd, Oct 24th and Nov 14th. but will also be recorded if you can’t make the call.)
Our experience and wisdom in dancing with all of the above.
We’d love to have you join us. You’re as ready as you’ll ever be.
The real miracle of individuation and reclamation of the Wild Woman is that we all begin the process before we are ready, before we are strong enough, before we know enough; we begin a dialogue with thoughts and feelings that both tickle and thunder within us. We respond before we know how to speak the language, before we know all the answers, and before we know exactly to whom we are speaking. -Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Registration for this course is now closed. If you’d like to be notified when we start our next session in January with Dancing in the Flames by Marion Woodman, you can sign up here:
